Broadcaster Jung Sun-hee looked back on the most difficult time of her life and talked about the faith that held her then.
On the 7th, a video titled "Because God is there, it's okay" Jung Sun-hee's one thing she ultimately clung to was released on Lee Sung-mi's YouTube channel.
That day, when asked how she endured the hard times, she said, "I hear that story a lot, and I'm so sorry, but I don't remember enduring it."
She said there were certainly difficult phases, but what she had thought she endured by will then and what she thinks now are different. Jung Sun-hee said, "At the time I thought I was struggling to get through it, but looking back it seems even that wasn't something I endured," and added, "Now I feel like God's footprints are all imprinted." She confessed that faith held her, saying, "If it hadn't been that way, I'm a person with a lot of anger, and it would have had a bad outcome."
But she did not accept every situation calmly from the start. Jung Sun-hee recalled that during her hard times she even resented Jesus, saying she had cried out, "Who gives and then takes away?" and "Why do I have to fight a battle every time?"
She went on to say that one day, while pouring out her resentment and complaints, she instead felt Jesus's heartache. She said at that moment she remembered times in the past when she had acted boastful or sought credit, and felt ashamed. Jung Sun-hee said that at the time she was struggling with the thought, "Why are you doing this to me?" but as time passed her perspective changed.
Especially when Lee Sung-mi said, "That was something you decided," Jung Sun-hee recalled that An Moon-sook had also said something similar to her in the past. At first the remark stung, but now she is rather grateful. Jung Sun-hee said, "That comment was right," and conveyed her current feeling that, rather than simply resenting what happened to her, she is "thankful that more terrible things were stopped."
