Actor Ji Ye-eun, who is preparing to marry dancer Vata, received indirect congratulations from Running Man members and the production team.
The SBS entertainment program Running Man broadcast on the 6th was arranged as a 'king of kings' special with Heo Kyunghwan, Lee Ju-yeon and Miyeon as guests.
That day, the members showed interest in dance skills after hearing that Lee Ju-yeon had prepared ATEEZ's 'Bad' dance. Then Yoo Jae-seok said, "Ji Ye-eun's dancing has improved a lot," and spontaneously asked Ji Ye-eun to dance.
Ji Ye-eun hesitated for a moment, saying "today's outfit is cute," but when the music started she changed her expression and immersed herself in the choreography. At her more skillful-than-expected dance, Haha admired, "she's the best." Her recently announced fiancé Vata was also naturally summoned. Yang Se-chan marveled, "as expected, Vata's girlfriend is different," and Jee Seokjin also chimed in, "her dancing got better after meeting Vata," teasing Ji Ye-eun.
Ji Ye-eun focused on dancing without adding much in response to the pouring-out mentions of her boyfriend's name. But the production team congratulated her on the marriage instead. They cleverly referred to Ji Ye-eun's recent status ahead of her marriage to Vata by displaying captions on screen such as "the bride-to-be who has captured both dance and love's performance" and "dance lesson from the shining fiancé."
Even after the wedding announcement, Ji Ye-eun did not directly bring up her groom or the marriage on the broadcast, but the members' playful congratulations combined with the production team's 'bride-to-be' captions naturally created a celebratory atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Ji Ye-eun and Vata, both born in 1994, developed a relationship after meeting at church. The two, who acknowledged their relationship in April, plan to hold their wedding on Dec. 12 at a location in Seoul.
