'Flex x Cop2' Lee Saerom made an impression on viewers despite her brief appearance.
Actress Lee Saerom drew attention in 'Flex x Cop2' with calm acting and a distinctive atmosphere.
In SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Flex x Cop2', Lee Saerom plays Song Areum, a bartender who majored in art, introducing a new character. In episodes 9 and 10, Areum is shown being offered to model for Yoo Seungho's next project. After some hesitation, she is moved by the comment that it would be an unforgettable experience as an art major and goes to the studio. In a conversation with Seungho, she expresses envy by saying, "I want to work in a place like this too," and when asked what her wish is, she says it is to paint without worrying about money, revealing her pure passion for painting.
But as she gets closer to Seungho, the situation Areum faces changes. When asked abruptly how she would like to die, she is unable to hide her perplexity, and Seungho places her in danger by offering champagne laced with drugs. However, she avoids harm with the help of Jin Isu (Ahn Bo-hyun), who begins to suspect him. Also, after hearing from Joo Hyera (Jung Eun-Chae) that Seungho's models have gone missing, she realizes she is also in danger, heightening the drama's tension.
In this way, Lee Saerom delicately portrayed her character's psychological changes, from admiration for famous artists and the excitement of being offered to model to wariness and fear toward Seungho. Her characteristic dreamy atmosphere and calm expressiveness naturally complemented the character. Through 'Flex x Cop2', he announced his full-scale move as an actor while showing steady acting skills, and interest is growing in what path the endangered Areum will take.
That day's 'Flex x Cop2' episode 10 recorded nationwide ratings of 7.8% and 7.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area, with a peak rating rising to 8.6%. The 20-49 rating, a key indicator for channel competitiveness, topicality and advertisers, also recorded a high of 2.8%, firmly capturing the target audience and showing a steady upward trend with each episode.
