Actor Ban Min-jeong becomes a late bride.
Ban Min-jeong will hold a wedding today (6) at a location in Seoul with her non-celebrity partner. The groom-to-be is a businessman one year older.
It was reported that Ban Min-jeong and the groom-to-be met through an acquaintance and grew their love.
Earlier, after news of the wedding was reported, Ban Min-jeong, in a currency with OSEN, said, "I did not really want the article to come out so I only sent (invitations) to acquaintances..," expressing surprise. (Aug. 6 OSEN exclusive report)
Ban Min-jeong runs an acting training institute bearing her name and trains juniors, and she was cautious about the sudden revelation of her wedding news since she is focusing on activities as an educator rather than on projects.
Ban Min-jeong debuted in 2001 with the film 'Undelivered' and then appeared in the drama 'School 4', 'Yeongaesomun', 'On Air', 'Glory of the Family', 'Obstetrics and Gynecology', 'Dong-yi', 'You Who Rolled In on the Vine', 'Bridal Mask', 'Good Doctor', Hwarang, 'Geum-iya Ok-iya', the film 'Special Forces', 'Doctor', 'Jurisdiction-free', Decoy and others.
In particular, after winning the acting award in the drama category at the 20th Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards in 2012 for 'Bridal Mask', she was recognized for her acting skills and runs an acting training institute bearing her name, working to foster juniors. In addition, she serves as a professor in the model and acting department at Seoul Cyber University, a delegate of the Korea Broadcasting Actors Union, an auditor of the Korea Broadcast Actors Association, and a director of the Media Rights Center.
