On KBS2 'Boss in the Mirror,' Haha appears as the new boss and the 'boss-worker conflict' with comedians Park Young-jin, Yang Sang-guk and Kim Won-hyo explodes.
In the Boss in the Mirror episode airing today (the 6th) at 4:40 p.m., Haha, who transformed from entertainer and singer into a YouTube PD with 1.14 million subscribers, appears as the new boss. The comedians Park Young-jin, Yang Sang-guk and Kim Won-hyo, members of the content 'Busan expedition' that he personally planned, appear as the 'workers,' and a relentless equity struggle between Boss Haha and the three comedians is expected, arousing curiosity.
After filming 'Busan expedition,' Boss Haha delays leaving work and sharply scolds, saying, "Our content is mukbang, but you recycle taste descriptions?" to enforce discipline. But the three strong-willed 'workers,' no less fierce than Haha, do not hold back and immediately counterattack. Park Young-jin rises up, saying, "How long are we going to be your puppets?" Eventually the trio's ambition turns into a dispute over content equity. When Yang Sang-guk crosses the line, saying, "I'll take 51% of the equity," Park Young-jin immediately replies, "Then I'll take 45%," and the two end up monopolizing 96% of the equity in an instant. Park Young-jin throws a heavy, blunt line, saying, "Boss Haha only needs to take a 4% platform fee," making everyone burst out laughing.
The tense equity battle between Boss Haha, who tasted the humiliation of 4% equity, and the three 'workers' claiming 96% equity will be revealed in the Boss in the Mirror main broadcast.
Meanwhile, Boss in the Mirror consistently records ratings in the 3–4% range each week, and last week it recorded a peak rating of 6.6% (Nielsen Korea), achieving 221 consecutive weeks as the No. 1 entertainment program in its time slot.
