BTS's fifth studio album 'Arirang' (ARIRANG) continues to show strong popularity on U.K. and global charts even six months after its release.
BTS's "Arirang" ranked 83 on the U.K. "Official Albums Top 100" for the period Sept. 4-10, up nine places from last week, extending the group's own record with its 24th consecutive week on the chart. Even with 28 new albums newly entering the chart, the album rose across subcharts, including 43 on the "Official Albums Sales," 41 on the "Official Physical Albums," and 30 on the "Official Scottish Albums."
Its strength on the world's largest music platform Spotify also stands out. On the weekly Top Albums Global chart for Aug. 28–Sept. 3, it held No. 2 for three consecutive weeks and has remained in the top three for 24 consecutive weeks. The title track "SWIM" and the album track "NORMAL" landed at Nos. 12 and 82 respectively, proving enduring interest.
Amid this global excitement, BTS will close its North American tour by performing "BTS World Tour 'ARIRANG' in Los Angeles" at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Sept. 1–2 and 5–6. The city of Los Angeles designated Sept. 1–8 as "BTS Week," welcoming the group at the city level by lighting the city hall building in the album's signature red hue. After the Los Angeles dates, BTS will head to South America to continue the world tour.
