Internet streamer Juice Seyeon released a statement about allegations of taking psychotropic drugs and then revealed her current situation.
Juice Seyeon posted a photo on her social media on the 5th without any accompanying text to share an update.
In the photo, Juice Seyeon showed a short bob dyed blonde. Holding a digital camera in one hand, Juice Seyeon drew attention with a small face partly covered by the camera and prominent facial features filling that face.
Juice Seyeon recently expressed her position regarding allegations of taking psychotropic drugs. Earlier, Juice Seyeon's boyfriend, streamer K, directly revealed that he is a YouTuber who was investigated by the police on suspicion of having someone else obtain prescription sleeping pills for him, saying "There was an article about proxy prescriptions for sleeping pills, and it was me. I was investigated about that. I am now getting prescriptions normally," and added, "I am sorry for causing this problem. I cooperated fully with the investigation, and we are just waiting for the results."
K is accused of having obtained and taken sleeping pills, a psychotropic drug, through proxy prescriptions from acquaintances. The police received a related report on June 13 and, after conducting an investigation, booked A without detention.
It was later reported that Juice Seyeon was questioned by police on suspicion of taking sleeping pills classified as psychotropic drugs. The Seoul Gangnam Police Station said it booked her on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act on July 30 and is currently investigating.
In response, Juice Seyeon said, "Something happened with my older brother and I took his medicine. I later had to go to the emergency room and as a result was questioned by the police," while insisting that the recent decision to cut her hair short and bleach it was unrelated to the police investigation, saying, "I was already investigated when I had black hair and I submitted 100 strands of hair. I bleached it after the investigation was over," dismissing the controversy.
In particular, Juice Seyeon's legal representative said, "This matter arose when, amid escalating conflict with her partner, Juice Seyeon took a sleeping pill (containing zolpidem) that the partner had and was transported to the emergency room and treated," and added, "There is no fact that Juice Seyeon received a proxy prescription for sleeping pills or was involved in that, and we clearly state that she did not illegally possess or use drugs or marijuana. Juice Seyeon did not fully recognize the legal implications and risks of taking another person's sleeping pills at the time, but after legal counsel she clearly realized her mistake and is deeply reflecting on it," reiterating their position.
Meanwhile, Juice Seyeon and K announced their relationship in April.
