Kwon Mina, formerly of the group AOA, issued additional comments after accusing her older sister of embezzlement.
On the 4th, Kwon Mina wrote on her social media, "Is my life a bit turbulent? Or is it dramatic?" and said, "But it's all true, and people ask if everyone has pseudologia fantastica, why do you only write about the harm you suffered, but because the proportion of harm is overwhelmingly high, there isn't much to write about in terms of what I inflicted."
Kwon Mina said, "If you ask me to write about what I suffered since I was a baby, that would be too miserable, so I hide it to that extent. I don't want to be treated pityingly. I changed the hanja of my name several times, and treating this as the last time I changed it through a very good acquaintance, the characters were '굳셀 민' and '싹 아'. I hope people see me like my current name, as 'that friend is really tough.'"
She continued, "Literally, I went through things so cruel and brutal that I sometimes wonder how I'm still alive, so a lot has come out and broken down and I'm still unstable and feel that way, and just as I can't really empathize with someone who hasn't gone through the same thing, others can't know either," and added, "I'm doing my best to act strong and really to be strong instead of being my weak self, to be confident and brave, bold, bright, positive, and to live simply and purely like a mother."
In particular, Kwon Mina said, "Rather than weak-strong-weak-strong, I simply prefer strong-strong-weak-weak. How you live and what you choose is up to you, but if you have no regrets about that choice, I consider it a success. Earlier, Kwon Mina alleged that her older sister embezzled hundreds of millions of won and committed abuses against their mother, making forceful accusations. Kwon Mina claimed, "Even though I personally covered all of the breast cancer treatment costs and cosmetic surgery after the incision, my sister said to our mother, 'Mom should have gotten breast cancer,' and 'Let's send her to a nursing home,' and she also told my mother's boyfriend false things about her."
Meanwhile, Kwon Mina, who debuted with AOA in 2012, left the group in 2019 and previously alleged she was bullied by the members.
