The mother of the child who unexpectedly dealt the actor Hyunbin an "awareness humiliation" by not recognizing him appeared in person. The mother's reaction, upon belatedly learning the identity of the "photographer," was also revealed, adding to the laughter.
Earlier, on the Jan. 1 broadcast of SBS Whenever Possible, Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeon-seok appeared with Whenever Possible friend Hyunbin and Woo Do Hwan to visit various locations in Anyang.
While the four were moving, elementary school–aged children spotted them and recognized Yu Jae-seok and Woo Do Hwan, asking them to take a photo.
But an unexpected situation unfolded. The children did not recognize Hyunbin. Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeon-seok pointed to Hyunbin and explained he was a famous actor, but the children asked, "Really?" which drew laughter.
In the end, instead of taking a photo with the children, Hyunbin took the phone himself and acted as the "photographer." A spectacle unfolded as top star Hyunbin personally took the commemorative photo with Yu Jae-seok, Yoo Yeon-seok and Woo Do Hwan for the children who did not recognize him.
After the broadcast, the mother of the child who had asked Hyunbin to take the photo at the time shared an afterstory in person. The child's mother recently posted on social media the photo Hyunbin had taken herself and recalled the moment, saying, "Last day of vacation! On the way to a lunch appointment with my grandmother, we had incredible luck." She continued, "She is still young so she may have spoken clumsily and babbled, but please look kindly on her," and then expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you to the production staff and cast who made unforgettable memories."
In particular, she added, "When she learned the identity of the photographer, the mom was.." along with a crying emoji, revealing her delayed reaction to learning through the broadcast that the person who had taken photos of her child was Hyunbin.
However, there was no "aftershock from the mom" that viewers might have expected. The child's mother wryly added, "There was no back smack either," which drew laughter. Following the child's innocent reaction of not recognizing Hyunbin and the mother's belatedly learned, cheerful aftermath of the photographer's identity, the laughter continued beyond the broadcast.
