KBS1's new daily drama "Mom has gone crazy," set to premiere on the 28th (written by Na Seung-hyun, directed by Seong Jun-hae, produced by Fantagio, Monster Union), is a work that depicts a tumultuous family coming-of-age story that unfolds as a mother who spent her life only for her family, a mother who spent her life only for herself, and the children of the two mothers who are like sworn enemies become entangled.

First, Kang Da-mi (Jeong Min-a) is the youngest daughter who was adopted by Jo Mi-mi (Kim Hee-jeong) at age 5. Bright and resourceful, Kang Da-mi has always put her family first, and Jo Mi-mi, who spent her life for her three children, has long been a reliable presence for her. But when Kang Da-mi dreams of creating a fashion brand bearing her own name, changes come to their daily life. In particular, an unexpected incident leads Jo Mi-mi to look back on the life she had postponed behind the name of mother.
Jo Mi-mi and Choi Sun-deok (Yang Hee-kyung) add warmth as a special mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship that has run the household together. To Choi Sun-deok, Jo Mi-mi is a dependable daughter-in-law who quietly filled her son's absence, and to Jo Mi-mi, Choi Sun-deok is like a birth mother who shared difficult moments. With the sudden appearance of ex-husband Kang Hak-seong (Lee Han-wi) and successive incidents involving the three children, the two women's positions begin to diverge. Although Choi Sun-deok cherishes her daughter-in-law more than anyone, moments arrive when she ultimately can only be a mother-in-law. Attention is focused on how Jo Mi-mi and Choi Sun-deok, placed in different positions, will navigate their conflict.
Jo Mi-mi and Jo Ri-ja (Ahn Yeon-hong) are sisters who run Mimi's samgyetang together. Jo Ri-ja has an innate touch for cooking but is a naive younger sister who rushes headlong when she falls in love. Jo Mi-mi constantly scolds that sister. The two bicker but become each other's strong support at important moments.
