Singer Sleepy visited the hospital this time because his daughter contracted hand, foot and mouth disease. After having been treated for a herniated disc and neck problems in April, he revealed his daughter's battle with illness a few months later.

The video shows Wua, who had hand, foot and mouth disease, being cared for at home and the process of returning to daycare after being declared fully recovered.
According to Sleepy, the first symptom that appeared in Wua was stomatitis. It then progressed to hand, foot and mouth disease, and due to concerns about contagion she was unable to attend daycare for as long as nine days, so Sleepy and his wife began home care.
What was hardest for the parents was the pain their young daughter endured. Sleepy recalled that 'actually, the scariest thing is the child being in pain,' remembering watching his daughter cry because she could not even properly swallow due to mouth and throat pain. Eating was not easy either. He said, 'She couldn't eat rice, and she couldn't take medicine,' adding that just seeing the child in pain was heartbreaking, and the whole family was exhausted because she couldn't attend daycare.
Fortunately, at the follow-up hospital visit they heard the news they had been waiting for. Medical staff who checked Wua's condition said she was completely recovered and could return to daycare. When they were able to end the long period of home care, Sleepy breathed a sigh of relief, saying, 'It's heaven. Heaven.'
Sleepy himself experienced health problems just a few months earlier. In April he suffered a herniated disc and then had vocal strain that prevented him from fulfilling scheduled engagements; along with a photo of him receiving IV fluids at the hospital, he said, 'I'm sorry for causing so much inconvenience. I will return healthy soon.'
Meanwhile, Sleepy married non-celebrity Kim Nahyun, who is eight years his junior, in 2022. After having their first daughter Wua in March last year, they conceived their second child through in vitro fertilization and welcomed a son in April, becoming the father of two children born in consecutive years.
