Singer 영탁 is showcasing his presence as a "versatile entertainer," actively working across his main music career as well as variety shows.
영탁 is set to release his third full-length album "GOGO" on the 14th and hold the 2026 Youngtak solo concert "TAK SHOW5" (hereafter "TAK SHOW5"), and he has been appearing on a range of programs from regular variety shows to observational formats, displaying diverse charms.
Since Feb. 23, 영탁, who joined tvN "Naked World History" as a new regular member, has been actively asking questions and taking on quizzes suited to the program's focus on historical events, and his reactions immersed in the events add a fresh layer of amusement. In particular, drawing on his acting background, he has shown distinctive method acting in skits that reenact historical figures and events, revealing an intellectual and refreshing charm not yet seen in his music activities.
영탁 expanded his variety activities through SBS "Our Neighborhood's Heyday," which premiered on Aug. 8. Participating in a neighborhood revival project to bring back the heyday of various local areas alongside Lee Kyung-kyu, DinDin and Lee Won-il, he has injected energy into the program with his characteristic affability and lively energy. In addition to simply appearing, he demonstrated producing abilities, proving talents beyond music.
Not only in regular variety shows but also across programs of various genres, 영탁 continues to be active. Recently appearing on KBS 2TV "Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant," 영탁 revealed the formal recording process for the song "hard tteokbokki" he created with actor Ji Seung-hyun, showing his professionalism as a music producer.
On the Feb. 2 broadcast of KBS 2TV "The Return of SUPERMAN," he spent special time with comedian Kim Jun-Ho's two sons, Eun-woo and Jung-woo, delivering a cheerful "uncle moment." He also candidly revealed his ideal type and plans for children, attracting viewers' attention with the charm of "the human Park Youngtak," different from Youngtak on stage.
While continuing active work in variety shows, he also has significant activities ahead as a singer. 영탁, ahead of his third full-length album "GOGO" release on the 14th, has been raising comeback excitement by consecutively revealing unique teaser content.
The album contains a total of 12 tracks, and 영탁 participated in the lyrics, composition and arrangement of 11 of them, once again proving his ability as a "hit-maker" beyond being a singer-songwriter. Attention is focused on whether another signature song will be born following "Why are you there?", "Wanna go eat abalone?", and "You were so extra."
After the album release, he will meet fans nationwide with the solo concert "TAK SHOW5." Opening at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul for three days from Oct. 3 to 5, "TAK SHOW5" continues to Jeonju on Oct. 24-25, Daegu on Nov. 28-29, Incheon on Dec. 19-20, and Busan on Jan. 16-17 next year.
Especially at this concert, as new songs included on the third full-length album "GOGO" are scheduled to be performed for the first time, anticipation for the music and performances that 영탁 will newly present is even higher.
