'You Quiz on the Block' debut 30th anniversary No Brain vocalists Lee Seong-woo and Hwang Hyun-seong appeared.
On the 2nd broadcast of tvN 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereafter 'You Quiz'), No Brain's Lee Seong-woo appeared. Marking their 30th anniversary since debut, they are one of the bands representing punk rock in Korea, and No Brain started in 1996 at the Hongdae club 'Drug'.
Hwang Hyun-seong said, "Punk music seemed to be for people who don't follow the rules. It felt like you didn't have to behave," explaining why he started music, and Lee Seong-woo said, "I was a troublemaker in school. I wasn't the type to win awards. At school, under persecution and pressure from my parents, I thought, 'my path is punk.' I wanted to make primitive and intense music, so I started punk music," showing he trusted his own judgment.
Meanwhile, Yu Jae-seok asked about the matter that caused a stir, saying, "BTS RM recommended No Brain as a Korean artist overseas." Lee Seong-woo said, "No way, really?" and at first could not believe it. RM actually recommended them, saying, "They are a really strong, energetic group — No Brain. The band's name is No Brain." Lee Seong-woo said, "It felt good to be mentioned, and isn't RM's name nice?" and excitedly proposed, "It's our 30th anniversary, shall we do some art together, Mr. RM?"
