On the 3rd, a video titled "Anger warning 'I'm not on good terms with my daughter...' reading Ahn Sun Young's mother-daughter conflict story [Counseling Center episode 01]" was released on Ahn Sun Young's YouTube channel. The topic that day was 'mother-daughter conflict,' and Ahn Sun Young said, "Regarding mother-daughter conflict, I think I'm in the top 0.01% in Korea. As a single mother and an only daughter, the two of us were always together whether we liked it or were angry, so I know it well."
The second story was from a woman in her late 40s who had never had a proper job her whole life and had run and closed a business with her mother's money; now she receives calls saying she needs 20 million won for an older brother who used to gamble and the caller is unsure whether to cut contact with her mother.
Ahn Sun Young immediately said, "You need to cut it off as soon as possible, otherwise they might die,". She said, "When I was 25 I paid off 100 million won of my mother's debt," and added, "I gave her a card to use, but she withdrew 5 million won because she had borrowed from someone else. If she had just said she was in debt, my heart wouldn't have been broken like that," saying that it might have been different if the family relationship had been more honest.
Ahn Sun Young continued, "A mother who failed to raise her children as socially independent people must also take responsibility," and for the storyteller she advised practically, "Whenever it was too hard, I exercised. Doing something that was too hard left me with no other thoughts."
