Actor Lee Min-jae is solidifying his position as a next-generation rising star as he moves freely between terrestrial broadcasters and OTT platforms.
Previously proving his distinctive presence and steady acting in the Netflix series "Weak Hero Class 2", tvN "Crash Course in Romance", and the film "Boy in the Pool", Lee Min-jae continues his dazzling run by confirming as many as four upcoming projects.
First, Lee Min-jae will come to the living room through KBS 2TV's new weekend miniseries "A Love Other Than Yours", which premieres on Sept. 12. He plays Lee Wan-do, the younger brother of Lee Mi-do (Ahn Eun-jin), and will vividly portray the deep wounds and intense emotions of a character who was once a freediving athlete and now runs a karaoke bar.
He also promised relentless activity in the Netflix original lineup. He newly joins All of Us Are Dead season 2 as Yong Maru, the university senior of Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hoo), and radiates an overwhelming aura amid the terror of a zombie virus expanded to Seoul. In the Netflix teen romantic comedy "No Crushing Allowed", he plays Jin Wol-nam-go Gong Su-ho, entangling with Lee Chi-won (Moon Sang Min) and Soran (Shin Si A), and is expected to deliver both freshness and taut tension.
Additionally, in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "White Scandal", he takes the role of Hong Kang-ho, the leader of a failed idol group, and pairs with Dan Yoo-jin (Ryu Hyeyoung) as a three-dimensional character who hides sorrow behind a bright smile.
Lee Min-jae, who captivates the screen and the small screen with boundless genre range—from independent film and genre pieces to romance—and solid acting skills, draws industry and fan expectations for his four-color transformations.
