Girl group LE SSERAFIM raised anticipation for their comeback to a peak with overwhelming visuals that blur the line between reality and virtuality.
At 12 a.m. on the 3rd, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) posted the "DIGITAL SYNC (Compact ver.)" version video and photos from their second single Made My Night on the group's official social media accounts.
In the released video, the members, trapped under a CCTV surveillance net in a desperate situation, choose escape over compliance. In the cool blue-toned tension, the mood switches when red flames ignite, delivering an intense thrill. Finally gathered in one place, the five members roam the space freely, radiating a singular aura.
The accompanying photos look as if a game screen has been transplanted intact. Live-action footage was treated with pixel and Glitch effects to create a dreamy yet mysterious atmosphere. Futuristic styling using metal accessories and flawless luxury visuals even in extreme close-ups add to the illusion of perceiving virtual characters directly.
LE SSERAFIM, which stoked comeback excitement by revealing three color concepts sequentially over three days from Aug. 31, will continue the momentum by unveiling veiled follow-up content on the 4th and 5th.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM's second single Made My Night deals with a night made special by mutual chemistry. It includes two tracks—the title track of the same name and "AEIOU"—and on the 1st a highly addictive excerpt of the song "you just made my night / I feel better now" was released, drawing attention.
The record-setting music video produced in collaboration with the global game "Overwatch" will be pre-released at 12 a.m. on the 11th, and the audio and performance video will open worldwide simultaneously at 1 p.m. that day.<
