Oh Hyunkyung expressed gratitude to Hwang Jung-eum.
On Aug. 2 a new video titled "The day I had a private tutoring interview for the first time in 17 years (feat. Jun-hyeok's mom)" was released on Hwang Jung-eum's YouTube channel.
That day Oh Hyunkyung asked Hwang Jung-eum, "Have you eaten?" and Hwang Jung-eum mentioned her busy life raising children, saying, "I feed the kids and if I don't eat, it goes into my own mouth."
Rushing to do her makeup, Hwang Jung-eum said, "Now it's complete once I put in my lenses. You know I wore lenses when I did 'High Kick,' right?"
To that, Oh Hyunkyung said, "So that's why your eyes were pretty. I just realized. I thought, 'Why do Jung-eum's eyes look so different? Did she have double eyelid surgery again?' Your irises were really pretty. Were those circle lenses?"
The two last met on the set of a commercial shoot. The commercial, which was filmed with a High Kick concept, was shot without Hwang Jung-eum due to her embezzlement controversy.
Oh Hyunkyung said, "I'm grateful. Because of you I was filmed as the lead. Because you weren't there," and when Hwang Jung-eum asked, "Really?" Oh Hyunkyung said, "The storyboard changed."
Meanwhile, last year Hwang Jung-eum was sentenced to two years in prison with a four-year suspended sentence on charges of embezzling 4.3 billion won from a one-person agency and investing it in cryptocurrency.
