Broadcaster and former announcer Kim Dae-ho was put in his place by a blunt remark from MBC junior Park So-young, who took over the program after him.
On the 3rd episode of MBC's 'Where is My Home', Kim Dae-ho, Park So-young and Yang Se-chan went on a site visit together.
That day Park So-young revealed a busy day, saying she had finished recording MBC's 'Today N' since the morning. 'Today N' is a program familiar to Kim Dae-ho. Kim Dae-ho hosted it for a long time starting in 2017 while working at MBC, and Park So-young later took over that position.
However, Park So-young's description of her senior's past program was brutally honest. Park So-young referred to Kim Dae-ho and said, "It was the program that senior Dae-ho used to do, but he left saying he would become an entertainer," which made the set burst into laughter. She then added "thankfully," saying she is currently in that position. In one line, the junior who is 10 years her junior summed up the situation of Kim Dae-ho, who chose a fresh start as a freelancer.
The substantial difference in their hiring years was also revealed. Kim Dae-ho joined MBC in 2011, while Park So-young joined in 2021, making them exactly 10 years apart as senior and junior. The two once worked as announcers at MBC, but their current positions have oddly reversed. Kim Dae-ho left the company and expanded his activities as a broadcaster, and Park So-young took over the hosting of the program that her senior had long guarded.
Above all, the junior's blunt summary that "he left saying he would become an entertainer" left Kim Dae-ho speechless and fully captured the bickering chemistry between senior and junior.
