Mark, formerly of the group NCT, is beginning legal action against malicious posts.
On the 2nd, his agency Upper Room posted on its official social media, "Since our establishment in the first half of this year, we have continuously monitored malicious slander, the spread of baseless false information, violations of personality rights, and other malicious posts about our artists across various online platforms and social media."
It added, "Currently the artist is more concerned about the emotional harm and stress these malicious posts may cause fans than about himself. Accordingly, for the sake of the artist and fans, we will take decisive legal action against malicious posts and comments that constitute cyberbullying."
Upper Room also added, "We promise to do our best going forward so that only beautiful interactions between the artist and fans through music can continue."
Meanwhile, Mark debuted as a member of NCT in 2016 and later promoted as a member of NCT 127, NCT DREAM and SuperM.
After his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment ended in April, Mark, who left NCT, established the one-person agency Upper Room and has continued his activities in earnest.
