A former MBC announcer, Kim Dae-ho, feels a sense of crisis as he watches a direct junior's 활약 right before his eyes.
On Thursday the 3rd at 10 p.m., MBC Where is My Home (directors: Jung Da-hi, Nam You Joung, Jang Hyo-jong, Kim Yoo-jin, Jung Cheol-hee/hereafter "Homez") heads out to Yangpyeong for an on-site visit.
In this episode, they set out to find properties in Yangpyeong that are close to Seoul yet allow one to enjoy the country living dream. On the site visit are the "original son of Yangpyeong" Kim Dae-ho, rising Yangpyeong daughter announcer Park So-young, and self-proclaimed Yang Yang clan(?) Yang Se-chan. In particular, Kim Dae-ho and Park So-young are said to have waged a tense battle of nerves over the title of "representative of Yangpyeong" throughout the visit, raising expectations.
The place the three found is an artfully designed house belonging to a film sound director, located next to a cornfield in the same Yangpyeong-eup. Seeing the cornfield view in front of the house, Kim Dae-ho said it reminded him of American films such as Interstellar, jumped boldly into the cornfield and even harvested corn himself in a full sensory on-site experience. Park So-young, a junior, was reportedly shocked by the raw side of her senior she had never seen at the company, promising laughter.
Meanwhile, inside the house, steamed corn prepared by the homeowner as a welcome food was discovered. When Kim Dae-ho introduced a way of eating corn in the style of Jang Dong-min, Park So-young added her own tip, and her unexpected secret reportedly embarrassed Kim Dae-ho and Yang Se-chan. Curiosity grows about what Park So-young's secret that made the studio laugh might be.
Next, the three moved on to a family house in Gangsang-myeon. Park So-young announced she would follow Kim Dae-ho's corner "I came to see a house, Dae-ho" with her own "I came to see a house, So-young" and began the segment herself. Feeling a sense of crisis, Kim Dae-ho tried to defend his position as the "original" with shocking acts such as washing his hair in the pond water, while Park So-young said "my sensibility is different," teasing another charm and drawing attention to the outcome of their contest.
Meanwhile, Kim Dae-ho is a former MBC announcer from the 30th recruitment class who worked for nearly 10 years before resigning in February last year. Since then he signed an exclusive contract with Onehundred Label and is active as a broadcaster.<
