"Burn to Win 2" abruptly announced its cancellation four days before the game.
On the 1st, production company Studio C1 announced on its official social media that the live viewing event scheduled for the 5th against Masan Yongma High School was canceled after the stadium notified them that the venue could not be reserved.
That day, the "Burn to Win 2" side said, "We had already secured the venue reservation two weeks ago and completed preparations for the live viewing event, including a prior inspection and communication with partners. However, on the evening before ticket sales, we received notice from the stadium that reservation of the venue would be difficult."
Accordingly, the "Burn to Win 2" side requested renegotiation of the venue reservation, and after receiving an answer that it would be reviewed positively, they first posted a notice postponing the ticketing schedule rather than announcing the game's cancellation.
The "Burn to Win 2" side said, "However, despite our continuous persuasion and requests for cooperation, we received a final position that the venue could not be reserved," and added, "Accordingly, we judged that it would be difficult for us to proceed with the game normally and reluctantly decided to cancel it."
They continued, "We sincerely apologize for causing great confusion and inconvenience to fans due to the sudden change in the ticketing schedule followed by the final cancellation," and said, "We did our best to persuade the stadium for the fans who waited, but in the end we were unable to present the game, and our hearts are very heavy."
The "Burn to Win 2" side added, "We deeply reflect on not being able to repay the support you sent, and we once again offer our apologies to the fans who were disappointed by this incident," and said, "We will inform you of future game schedules through additional notices as soon as they are finalized."
