Actor Ryu Seung-ryong admitted that he did not know Ha Jiwon's real name.
On Aug. 30, the YouTube channel Cosmopolitan Korea posted a video titled '"Neulgkeukeu = always kekeke?" Ryu Seung-ryong's interpretation makes Ha Jiwon press the laugh button.'
On that day, actors Ryu Seung-ryong and Ha Jiwon, who played a married couple in the film Portrait of a Family, tested how well they knew each other through questions and rated their chemistry.
The first question was about Ha Jiwon's name. Ha Jiwon revealed that "Ha Jiwon" is a stage name and asked, "Where did the name come from?"
Ryu Seung-ryong guessed it was the name of a character from her debut work, but the correct answer was that it was the name of the manager's first love when Ha Jiwon debuted. Ryu Seung-ryong confessed, "I don't even know her real name, sorry."
Ha Jiwon said, "I'm disappointed," and worried, "Is my score going to keep getting deducted like this?" Ryu Seung-ryong guessed, "Jeon Du-ja? Jeon Du-yeop?" which drew laughter.
Ha Jiwon said, "It's Jeon Hae-rim," and explained, "I thought the name Ha Jiwon was very pretty at the time. It had a neutral feel. I later learned it was my manager's first love's name," attracting attention.
Meanwhile, Portrait of a Family is an intense family chronicle in which top-star couple Jung-gu (played by Ryu Seung-ryong) and Nam-mi (played by Ha Jiwon) face a breakup after Jung-gu's daughter Dong-ju (played by Kim Si-a) suddenly appears, and eight years later Dong-ju gets embroiled in a shocking incident that leads them to stake everything remaining to uncover the truth.
