The group izna is stepping up full-scale global activities while expanding the narrative of "being myself."
izna (Mai, Bang Ji-min, Coco, Yoo Sa-rang, Choi Jeong-eun, Jeong Se-bi) released their first Japanese mini album 'HANDLE WITH CARE' on various music sites on the 2nd.
'HANDLE WITH CARE' is izna's first mini album presented in Japan, telling the attitude of believing in and cherishing oneself to the end under one's own standards. The album title was inspired by a cautionary phrase on a laundry label.
A representative explained that "based on the message that the most important being to handle with care is ultimately 'oneself,' the album conveys confidence that one can shine just as they are and expands izna's ongoing narrative of 'being myself' to the next level."
It is expected to serve as a starting point to newly convey the music and messages izna has built up so far to Japanese listeners, and 'HANDLE WITH CARE' includes a total of five tracks: the original title track 'DUMB HOT!,' the new song 'HEADACHE,' and Japanese versions of izna's signature songs that encapsulate their beginnings and growth—'IZNA,' 'SIGN,' and 'Mamma Mia.'
Commenting on their Japanese debut, izna said, "Being able to debut in Japan is thanks to naya (the fandom). We are truly grateful." They added, "We're happy to be able to show a fresh and cool charm that perfectly matches summer through 'DUMB HOT!'. We hope to make many great memories with naya during our upcoming activities in Japan."
