This is a review article written after watching the video.
Broadcaster Jonathan appeared on the National Singing Contest with his friends.
On the 1st, the YouTube channel Jonathan uploaded a video titled "Blacks EP.9 | Black people who went on the National Singing Contest after learning Catch Catch from Yena."
That day Jonathan said "It's a big project for the second half of the year" and noted "The National Singing Contest was held in Jung-gu, Seoul." Jonathan said he and his friends would audition for the program.
Each of them sang a song they were confident in and decided to prepare one song with a chance of winning. Jonathan sang Naul's "Gwiro." However, his friends evaluated that "it's too hard to listen to" and drew laughter.
Afterwards, feeling at a loss, Jonathan asked Yena for help, saying "someone who can do both singing and performance." Yena said "It's a song for the National Singing Contest" and taught them using her song "Catch Catch," adding to the laughter.
At the end of the video, Jonathan and his friends took the National Singing Contest stage and performed "Catch Catch," but failed to win an award. Internet users reacted with comments such as "Wait.. they learned it from the original artist?" and "Ah, so there was a backstory to this.."
