Comedian Maeng Seung-ji shared her philtrum surgery review.
On the 2nd, Maeng Seung-ji posted a video on her social account with the caption "Plastic surgery after 12 years! Two months after philtrum surgery Q & A."
In the video, Maeng Seung-ji said, "It has now been 58 days since I had philtrum surgery. The questions I got the most were about expense, scars, swelling, and pain. I will go through them one by one."
However, he added a warning, "This is not a video recommending surgery. I made it because people considering surgery might want to hear about my real experience. Please use it only as a reference, and research every surgery thoroughly and decide carefully! I thought about it for five years," and he explained, "The pain only hurt on the night of the surgery, and after that it never hurt. It only hurt when I slept."
He continued, "Second is the expense. I had inner philtrum, outer philtrum, the corners of the mouth and philtrum depression done together. All four together were under 6,000,000 won," while stressing, "Because everyone's desired appearance is different, surgical costs can vary greatly. Mine was a case of having four procedures at once."
He also complained, "Third is the swelling. The swelling made me look really ugly for a month. My nose looked a bit spread. The side areas became larger so after about a month it started to look somewhat better, and after more than six weeks and over eight weeks it became visibly prettier compared with the one-month mark. You can do all daily activities if you wear a mask. It felt like I really looked ugly for a month."
Posting the video, Maeng Seung-ji said, "I picked the most asked questions and uploaded them! I filmed for more than eight minutes, but I cut it down due to length issues! I will talk about scars in the next episode, so if you are curious, please wait," and urged, "This is not a video recommending surgery; I am sharing my experience, so please use it only as a reference!"
He added, "I deliberated for five years before the surgery~! Maybe that's why I'm satisfied without regret. For those considering surgery, please be sure to research carefully and thoroughly before deciding!"
Meanwhile, Maeng Seung-ji revealed in July that she had philtrum reduction surgery. He said, "I had inner philtrum, philtrum depression, outer philtrum and corners of the mouth surgery. Before the surgery, my philtrum was longer than average, so I was always conscious of it," and expressed satisfaction, "Although the swelling has not completely subsided, it does not interfere with daily life at all, and I am quite satisfied."<
