Pop queen Madonna (68) captivated fans worldwide with visuals that belie her being in her 60s.
Madonna recently posted photo shoot images on her social media that seem to defy time. In the photos, Madonna evokes an alluring air reminiscent of actress Pamela Anderson (59) with voluminous blonde hair and makeup.
In particular, walking down a hallway in a tight red jumpsuit, she showed off a firm figure, and she paired a nude-toned bodysuit with a black lace corset. Her wrinkle-free skin drew admiration. Madonna left the phrase "Draw me with your memory, not your eyes."
On the post, fellow pop star Ricky Martin cheered, "Yes!", and Julia Garner, who had been cast as Madonna in Madonna's autobiographical film, also reacted explosively with "Wow!"
Madonna's visual transformation has attracted even more attention in connection with the recent announcement of nominations for the "MTV Video Music Awards (VMA)." Madonna became the most-nominated artist this year at the VMAs, landing nominations in as many as 11 categories. That surpasses Taylor Swift (36), who was nominated in nine categories.
Madonna received praise from critics and fans for her new album Confessions II, released last July (the follow-up to her 2005 hit Confessions On A Dance Floor). If Madonna, who owns 19 VMA trophies, sweeps these nominations, she would hotly pursue Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, who currently share the record for most wins with 30.
Meanwhile, during recent album promotion Madonna stirred controversy with a sensational remark that "the greatest relationship of my life was with John F. Kennedy Jr.," showcasing her unwavering role as an issue maker.
