Actor Kim Dan joins Netflix's new series "Madelesa," promising a powerful acting transformation that hides secrets behind a smile.
"Madelesa" is about cold-blooded criminal psychologist and professor "Madelesa" who, with the help of her teaching assistant "Park Seol," who hides secrets behind an innocent face, and long-time friend and prosecutor "Yoo Aram," digs into unsolved murder cases and confronts hidden truths.
In the drama, Kim Dan plays Park Seol, the long-time teaching assistant of Madelesa (Nana). Park Seol is a character who helps investigate cases while seeking Madelesa's attention; she always wears a smile, but beneath it she hides unpredictable secrets. Kim Dan will portray the gap between outward appearance and inner self in three dimensions, further raising the drama's immersion and tension.
Earlier, Kim Dan made a strong impression on viewers with a refreshing passion and a coming-of-age story overcoming trauma as new rugby club member Moon Woong in The Winning Try. She then played Oh Min-woo, who harbors an unspeakable secret, in Love: Track - kimchi, delivering restrained, nuanced acting.
