The group Ascent (ASC2NT) has drawn attention by releasing a music video teaser boasting overwhelming visuals.
On Aug. 31, Ascent released the music video teaser for the title track If I Die Tomorrow from their second mini album Still with you.
The released video begins with a massive fireball falling toward a city and quickly continues to a downtown engulfed in flames and smoke. The members were captured desperately running amid collapsing buildings and pouring debris.
In particular, at the end of the teaser a gigantic structure is shown crashing down toward someone standing alone, increasing curiosity about the full music video.
As the teaser alone shows, the agency staged this music video like a disaster film set against an apocalypse, boasting an overwhelming scale. Even with the short teaser, Ascent, which captures attention, is raising expectations for the charms they will show in this album.
The majestic apocalyptic worldview combined with weighty sound also captivates the ear. Ascent layered deeper vocals over a swelling melody line to complete a bold narrative, and they plan to demonstrate exceptional storytelling ability that encompasses music and visuals through the new release.
Meanwhile, Ascent's second mini album Still with you will be released at 6 p.m. on the 4th.
