September music scene, a comeback breeze is blowing.
The September music scene is more dazzling than ever. In addition to LE SSERAFIM and BOYNEXTDOOR, who have launched ultra-fast comebacks, solo artists such as Blackpink's Lisa, Jeesoo and (G)I-DLE's Soyeon are preparing to make their moves.
First, LE SSERAFIM will release their second single, Made My Night, at 1 p.m. on Sept. 11. This marks about four months since their last release, the full-length album ''PUREFLOW' pt.1 in May. This record deals with nights made special by each other's chemistry. It is attracting attention with unique promotional content. Photos and videos conceptualized as a fictional talk show and press conference add to the comeback excitement.
LE SSERAFIM recently received a good response for their performance at Japan's largest music festival, Summer Sonic 2026, so interest is growing in their new song stage as well. The five members, who always lead trends with distinctive music, are expected to shine.
BOYNEXTDOOR will release the repackage of their first full-length album HOME at 6 p.m. on Sept. 28. It is their first comeback in about three months since June. After a world tour and a new Japanese release, adding a repackage album is truly a busy streak. At the 부산 concert of the Aug. world tour BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.2', they said they would meet more fans with the Sept. 28 repackage of their first full-length album.
After showing growth with a first full-length album that wove in autobiographical stories, it remains to be seen whether BOYNEXTDOOR will return more serious and mature or present freewheeling and ingenious music.
Blackpink, celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, is making successive entries into the music scene with solo activities. Following Jennie, who released the digital EP Fallen Angel last month, Lisa and Jeesoo have joined the solo lineup.
Lisa will pre-release SaWaDiKa, a track from her mini album PRESS PLAY, which is due on Sept. 23, on Sept. 3. She used the Thai greeting of her homeland as the song title. Jeesoo will release a new single, CLICK, at 1 p.m. on Sept. 4. It is about one year and seven months since her first solo album, AMORTAGE, released in Feb. last year.
(G)I-DLE's Soyeon will release her first solo full-length album, A Wonderful Life, at 6 p.m. on Sept. 7. It will be her first solo comeback in five years and two months since the mini album Windy, released in July 2021. The new album will contain a total of eight tracks, including the title track, I will quit my job (Narr. Kian84). In particular, she is receiving a good response by using resignation as a promotional theme. Playful promotions such as "resignation" photos taken in front of the agency and a tracklist modeled after a resignation letter provide entertainment. Attention is focused on the solo album of the group's leader and main producer, who has built a distinctive musical identity.
