Mamamoo member Solar revealed an absurd incident she experienced in the United States involving a man she did not know.
Solar conducted a live broadcast on her social media on the 31st of last month to communicate with fans.
First, Solar greeted fans and shared her feelings about concluding the U.S. tour, saying, "After the concert in Seattle ended, I came back to the hotel and turned on a live stream. Today was the last city of the North American tour. I was in the United States for about three weeks, and when I first came I was really excited and thrilled, but already it's the last one, so I feel kind of a little sad and stuff."
She also mentioned some absurd things she experienced in the United States. Solar opened up, saying, "What happened in the U.S. was that in LA, Moonbyul and I, our hair staff and two male managers—five of us—were walking down the street."
She continued, "We were walking and there was an alley; three women were walking in front and two managers were behind. There was a man on the opposite side. He was walking, and suddenly I blinked and he was coming toward us," and she explained the situation at the time: "I was like, 'What is this?' and he was carrying a chair. Suddenly he started cursing in English. He was cursing and threw the chair at me."
Solar said, "I was hit by fragments of the chair. He slammed the chair down on the floor toward my side and it hit me. It was my first time experiencing something like that in my life. He seemed like a somewhat strange person. He was someone I didn't know at all..." and she revealed the dangerous situation, saying, "I was hit and my two managers restrained him, and then he left. I was so shocked. This was the first time this has happened to me in my life."
She repeatedly said, "I was so surprised by the chair being thrown that I didn't scream but rather went, 'Huh?' This happened a few days ago. The chair was wooden so it broke when thrown. I got bruises on my leg but they seem to have gone now. I was so flustered at the time that I didn't think about the pain. That happened. It was a very unusual, new experience," she confessed.
Solar mentioned another experience. She said, "I was walking with a friend who does my hair, and a boy who looked like he was in middle school suddenly came up and said, 'Excuse me,' and started talking. Then he went and giggled with his friends. I couldn't understand what he was saying," and added, "It's not that I only have bad memories in LA; I just had that kind of experience." Although she went through a series of absurd incidents, she also had meaningful times meeting fans through performances with Mamamoo.
Mamamoo, the group Solar belongs to, successfully completed the world tour '4WARD' with performances in seven U.S. cities.
