Actor Kang Ha-kyung has joined tvN's new drama "What I Decided to Do Before I Die" and will show a different transformation.
On the 1st, her agency FN Entertainment said Kang Ha-kyung was swiftly cast in tvN's new drama "What I Decided to Do Before I Die" (written by Kim Sol-ji, directed by Choi Jeong-gyu · 김희원, produced by Studio Dragon · Media Group Take Two · RedNine Pictures · Big Ocean E&M).
"What I Decided to Do Before I Die" is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name (writer YUJU) and depicts a time-loop romance in which Cha Gyeol (played by 이채민) repeats life countless times to save a loved one and Nam Ji-o (played by 노윤서) fights fate to protect his life. It will be released in 2027.
Kang Ha-kyung will play Park Woo-jin, a character born carrying all the misfortunes of the world. Park Woo-jin, who grew up in a harsh environment that is weak to the strong and strong to the weak, will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. Kang Ha-kyung is expected to raise the tension of the drama by setting up a tense confrontation with Cha Gyeol, played coldly and brutally by 이채민.
So far, Kang Ha-kyung, who has broadened her range across stages and media in the drama "The Legend of Kitchen Soldier", "Lovers", "Fly, Gaechonyong", the films "Humint", "Streaming", and the musical "Sisyphus: The Myth", is expected to portray the three-dimensional inner life of Park Woo-jin with her distinctive ability to inhabit characters.
Kang Ha-kyung is currently performing the role of Smerdyakov in the musical "The Brothers Karamazov".<
