On Aug. 28, the YouTube channel 'Weekend Yeonseok Play' uploaded a video titled "Yoo.Chwi.Ppo｜Classic car episode: a 1984-born found a 1984 Pony, buy it? not buy it?"
On that day, Yoo Yeon-seok said he often looks for classic car listings and said, "New cars keep coming out, but classic cars are not easy to buy."
When the production team asked about his romantic notions about cars, Yoo Yeon-seok said, "A vintage watch or wine from the year you were born exists, doesn't it," and confessed, "I thought it would be fun to have a 1984 model car born in Korea."
He said he had already looked up a 1984 Pony 2 pickup listing that is currently for sale and said it could be purchased for about 7 million won. When he said he had never test-driven the vehicle, a classic car representative gave him a test drive.
Afterward, Yoo Yeon-seok said, "Could I actually buy it? Should I at least try calling?" and phoned the actual seller of the listing to ask about whether the vehicle could be driven. Yoo Yeon-seok said, "I'm really torn. I need to think about it," drawing anticipation.
Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon-seok previously showcased a Tesla Model S Plaid in content and explained, "As far as I know, it's the fastest among the models so far. It has three motors." That model was reported to have a domestic selling price in the low to mid 100 million won range.
