When asked how she felt about living together again after ending a long period of living separately, Ye Esther said "It's good." But after a brief pause before answering, she immediately added one condition.
Ye Esther said "It's good, but I don't think we can share one room" and especially emphasized, "Please do not come into my bathroom." The problem was her husband Hong Hye-geol's habits.
First, what Ye Esther could not understand was the number of towels used. Hong Hye-geol uses not one but three towels for a single shower and throws the used towels directly on the floor. Hearing this, Hong Jin Kyung also recoiled and sympathized.
But there was a bigger revelation. Ye Esther revealed that during their 33 years of marriage Hong Hye-geol does not flush the toilet after urinating, which caused a stir on set. Hong Hye-geol protested that he was being unfairly treated and explained that he naturally flushes after having a bowel movement. However, regarding urination he admitted, "I have never flushed," and explained it as an old habit, saying, "Urine is sterile. It's clean."
