Group Blackpink member Jeesoo mentioned the "yogurt bowl incident."
On Aug. 30, the YouTube channel W KOREA posted a video titled "Looking back on 10 years since debut with Jeesoo and meme interviews! Why was there silence at the Blackpink concert?"
That day Jeesoo spent time reminiscing while looking at videos and photos that became memes during past activities. Jeesoo looked at a yogurt bowl photo she had uploaded to SNS in the past and burst out laughing, then opened her mouth saying, "my mistake. the mistake of my younger self."
When the producers called it the "yogurt bowl incident," Jeesoo laughed heartily, saying, "Is it something to be called an incident? I still don't know what I did so wrong."
She continued, "At that time these mood shots were all the rage. I don't know why that period came," and joked that she had long been what fans recognized as "clumsy with hands."
She added, "All the members were posting mood shots so I thought, 'I'll follow the trend too,' but after I posted the yogurt photo everyone criticized me. I just added a mood shot," she said, sounding wronged.
Jeesoo said, "It turned out you should have put something firm like Greek yogurt, but I used something like Yoplait. I happened to have honey next to me so I poured it, but they said it should be honeycomb honey. Who has honeycomb honey at home?"
She went on, "They even made fun of the strawberry, saying it looked like the strawberry next to it. It's not funny. I didn't know. Why didn't anyone tell me exactly?" and said, "So I haven't tried it again," prompting laughter.
