Veteran comedian Yu Seong dies at 88, remembered as Korea Broadcasting Comedians Association member

Veteran comedian Yu Seong (birth name Yu Jong-su) has died.

On the 1st, OSEN confirmed that Yu Seong passed away on the 31st of last month. He was 88.

The late Yu Seong was born in 1938 and was active on MBC's "Cheongchun manmanse", "Woomyeon bogiwayo" and on KBS2's "Yumo 1beonji", "Myeongnang sogeukjang", and on KBS1's "6si naegohyang".

In particular, the deceased was registered as member number 8 of the Korea Broadcasting Comedians Association. Number 1 is the late Gu Bong-seo, number 2 is Song Hae, number 3 is the late Nam Seong-nam.

The funeral wake is set up in room 8 of the funeral hall at Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Suwon Hospital. The funeral rite will be held at 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 2.
