Actor Kim Dong-jun revealed an anecdote related to Yim Siwan.
On Aug. 31, a video titled 'Lee Hyun-kyun Kim Min-ho Kim Dong-jun Nam Tae-woo [Zzanbro EP.160] New Recruit appearing on Zzanbro…! New Recruit returns' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Shin Dong-yeob's Zzanbro' (hereafter "Zzanbro").
That day Kim Dong-jun said that among the members of ZE:A he was the first to start acting and opened by saying, "I filmed a one-act drama set in Busan and returned to the dorm. Siwan hyung was preparing the drama 'The Moon Embracing the Sun.'"
He recalled, "He asked, 'Dong-jun, how is the drama set?' so I told him everything I experienced at 20," and said that after 'The Moon Embracing the Sun' was released he was surprised by Yim Siwan's acting.
Kim Dong-jun praised, "(After seeing Yim Siwan's acting) I felt like I had touched a mountain I shouldn't have touched. He was so cool and so good for his first appearance," and added, "There was one thing I felt then. A person really has to be smart."
Meanwhile, Yim Siwan said he never took acting lessons during his time in ZE:A. He happened to audition for 'The Moon Embracing the Sun' and ended up playing the childhood of the character Heo Yeom.
