The late director Ahn Pan-seok's final work, "The Dating Doctor," has confirmed its release on Oct. 5, and teaser videos of the protagonists have also been released.

The ENA new Monday-Tuesday drama "The Dating Doctor," which premieres on Oct. 5 (Mon) (directed by Ahn Pan-seok, written by Min Hyo-jeong, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Studio Gotti), on the 1st released two mood teaser videos capturing the hot and thrilling moments of two youths in love.
"The Dating Doctor" tells the story of doctoral student Park Min-jae (played by Choo Young-Woo), who was a high school swimmer but lost one leg to illness, and master's student Lim Yu-jin (played by Kim So Hyun), who lost her career path and wandered before entering a new path. A spicy, bitter and sweet romance that blooms in a robotics lab, and the colorful daily lives of graduate students we did not know deliver warm smiles amid excitement. Above all, expectations are focused on the meeting of Choo Young-Woo and Kim So Hyun, who will portray the joys and sorrows of two youths awkward at love.
The fact that it is a new work by director Ahn Pan-seok, who created melodrama masterpieces still talked about today such as "Graduation," "Something in the Rain," "One Spring Night" and "Secret Affair," also draws the attention of drama fans. Director Ahn Pan-seok, who carefully traces emotional lines, raises expectations about what kind of emotion he will deliver through the love of youths clumsy at love. Change comes when Yu-jin, who has strong drive, appears before the one awkward at emotional expression. Kim So Hyun plays Lim Yu-jin, who faces confusion about her career path as she approaches graduation from the department of clothing. Due to an incident, he was labeled a "troublemaker" within the department, blocking his path to graduate study in clothing, but he meets Min-jae and opens his eyes to a new world of robotics. Curious whether the unstoppable Lim Yu-jin, who is relentless in both robot research and direct pursuit of love, can melt Park Min-jae's hardened heart.

Meanwhile, director Ahn Pan-seok, who directed "The Dating Doctor," passed away last month on the 12th after battling a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 64 years old.
The late director had recently collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage and was receiving treatment, and the production company had said he was "recovering." However, sudden news of his death plunged the entertainment industry into sorrow. Actors who appeared in Ahn Pan-seok's works, including Kim Hee-ae, Cha Seung-won, Kim Myung-min, Jung Ryeo-won, Kim Hye-eun, and MBC colleague announcer Baek Ji-yeon, also mourned him.<
