Actor Jeon So-min's younger brother Jeon Wook-min finally got an opportunity to act.
On the 30th, Jeon Wook-min said, "I sincerely support everyone running toward their dreams and never give up."
In the video he released with this, he confessed, "Finally an opportunity has come to me too. At 38, if I say I'm 'preparing' to act with no money or career, people around me say, 'Isn't it time to stop now,' 'Now you're forty,' and similar things. I know they say it out of concern for me, but I also thought, 'Should I quit?' sometimes."
Jeon Wook-min said, "And a few days ago I got a phone call. The lines are few and it's a role that briefly passes by, which might seem like a small thing to some, but it's different for me."
He added, "It's a very precious opportunity that feels like my dream may finally touch reality for the first time. I want to value this small opportunity given to me now and do my best."
He continued, "I fervently hope it becomes the opening scene that leads to a bigger stage someday. I once read somewhere that direction is more important than speed. Everyone's speed is different, but if you go in the right direction you'll eventually meet [your goal]. While running toward my dream there were moments when I thought, 'Is this the right path' and wanted to give up, and there will be more, but recalling that saying I will cherish what I can do and run with my best. So I run today as well," he added.
Earlier, Jeon Wook-min drew attention by revealing that he makes a living doing delivery part-time. In the video he said, "My older sister is a famous actor," and "Thanks to my sister I appeared on broadcasts several times. So I dreamed of becoming an actor too. From the outside it felt, how should I put it, close? So honestly I thought I would do well."
However, Jeon Wook-min said, "But the wall of reality was much higher and thicker than I thought. I'm 38. Soon I'll be forty. I have no flashy career and no saved money. People around me thought I had a lot of money because my sister is a celebrity. But that money has nothing to do with me. It's all my sister's money. It's money my sister earned."
He went on, "Still, I do delivery to do what I want. Sometimes it's embarrassing. At my age delivering. It's hard to say," and he steadied himself, saying, "People around me say it's too late. When you think it's too late, that's really late. But there's the opposite saying: when you think it's too late, it's the fastest time. I choose to believe the latter and run today as well."
