HYBE's rookie group Tueide is racking up No. 1 records as soon as they debut.
HYBE said on the 31st, "According to Hanteo Chart, Tueide's debut album 'Tune & Play (TUNE & PLAY)' sold a total of 112,282 copies during the past week after its release. This corresponds to the 10th place in first-week sales for girl group debut albums in history," the company said.
With this, Tueide has set a meaningful record immediately upon debut. In particular, they not only entered the all-time top 10 for first-week sales of girl group debut albums but also recorded the highest performance among domestic female artists who debuted this year, proving their presence as the "rookie of the year."
In addition, Tueide's digital song chart performance and music video are also on a steady rise. Their debut song "Sun Kiss (SUN KISS)" reached No. 5 on Apple Music's "Today's Top 100: Korea" (Aug. 29) and climbed to No. 24 on Spotify's "Daily Top Songs" Korea chart (Aug. 28).
Meanwhile, they recorded No. 1 on YouTube's "Daily popular music video" Korea chart (Aug. 27), showing a steep upward trend.
