'Spider-Man' new series 'Brand New Day' has surpassed $2.3 billion in global box office and even broken Titanic's record.
The film Spider-Man: Brand New Day has surpassed 8,540,000 cumulative domestic viewers in its fifth week and is moving toward 9,000,000 viewers, while globally it has overtaken Titanic to rank fourth on the all-time box office chart, continuing a worldwide box office phenomenon.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing system, as of 6:40 a.m. on Aug. 31, cumulative attendance stood at 8,548,404, continuing its run toward 9,000,000 viewers. Earlier, in its fourth week the Tomspa series and the Spider-Man series record for highest domestic box office were newly written, and even a month after release it continued to be chosen by audiences, showing the staying power of long-term box office success and drawing attention.
In particular, alongside its long-running success domestically, it set another monumental record globally. Spider-Man: Brand New Day recorded about $2.3 billion in global cumulative box office revenue, surpassing James Cameron's Titanic and Avatar: The Way of Water to place fourth on the all-time global box office list. After passing $2 billion in global cumulative box office in its third week, by its fifth week it once again proved its overwhelming box office power by surpassing the long-standing symbolic benchmark of Titanic.
While domestically it has surpassed 8,540,000 viewers and continues its run toward 9,000,000, globally Spider-Man: Brand New Day has set a new milestone as one of the all-time top four box office films, and attention is focused on what additional box office records it will add going forward.
Starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues a decade-long series that began with Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). Following Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), all of which were beloved, Brand New Day returns after five years breaking all records, and there is anticipation whether it can even surpass Avatar: The Way of Water.
