The released photo shows Choi Jeong-won exercising at a gym. She wore a cap and focused only on her workout, revealing healthy, bronze-toned skin. Choi Jeong-won is 45 this year, but she boasted a firm back musculature not inferior to her prime, and fans who saw the post reacted with comments such as "Oppa, I'm so happy to meet you like this again. Earlier, on the 29th of last month, Choi Jeong-won expressed her feelings after concluding the adultery and stalking lawsuit that had lasted five years.
Choi Jeong-won confessed, "For five years I felt like I was struggling in a dark, muddy swamp. Both the adultery lawsuit and the stalking lawsuit felt like a long tunnel I endured, hearing even words less than human. But now it really is all over," adding, "The adultery lawsuit was won, clearly confirming that I did not engage in inappropriate conduct, and the stalking case was entirely dropped, clearing up misunderstandings, so I have truly put an end to all cases now."
She continued, "I am so tired now and intend to live as a devout and humble person. When things break out, untrue rumors spread recklessly like wildfire, but I think most people are uninterested in the outcome," and added, "That may be human nature, but whether gossip or entertainment, I want to say again to those who genuinely worry: I reiterate that over the past five years all matters were found not to have merit, and the false civil lawsuit also ended with a victory."
Meanwhile, in January 2023 Choi Jeong-won was embroiled in an adultery lawsuit filed by B, the husband of a woman A who had been an acquaintance. B claimed that Choi Jeong-won had an inappropriate relationship with his wife from December 2022. But the Supreme Court dismissed B's appeal in January, leading to Choi Jeong-won's victory and clearing her of adultery allegations.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office also suspended prosecution on Choi Jeong-won's special intimidation charge, and disposed of the alleged threats using recorded materials under the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes and the violations under the Stalking Punishment Act as non-prosecution, closing the case.
