Today (30th), the tvN Saturday-Sunday drama 'Four Hands' (written by Shin I-won, directed by Park Hyun-seok) episode 2 features genius pianist Kang Bi-o (played by Song Kang) and Choi Jeong-yo (played by Lee Junyoung) taking on a 'four hands' performance, playing together on a single piano.
Kang Bi-o and Choi Jeong-yo, who first met at a competition in their childhood, later walked completely different paths. Kang Bi-o followed the elite track, entered Korea National High School of Arts, and established a solid position as a pianist by standing out in various competitions. On the other hand, Choi Jeong-yo quit music and distanced himself from the piano while working to repay his father's debts.
The relationship between the two, which seemed unlikely to meet again, was rekindled when Choi Jeong-yo unexpectedly transferred to Korea National High School of Arts. Noticing Choi Jeong-yo's innate expressiveness when immersed in a piece, Korea National High School of Arts chairman Yoon Seon-ju (played by Seo Jae-hee) and famous pianist Do Hyun-su (played by Kim Joo-heon) offered him a chance to face the piano again.
Later, Kang Bi-o and Choi Jeong-yo become performance partners after receiving a "four hands" assignment from their piano teacher Do Hyun-su. However, their only prior experience playing the piano together was a playful synchronization during the waiting time at a competition seven years earlier. After a long time, interest is growing over whether the two, now a team again, can successfully complete their four hands performance.
Meanwhile, released stills show Kang Bi-o and Choi Jeong-yo spending the whole day together to earn the teacher's approval and synchronize their playing.
