Comedian Heo Kyunghwan became a regular on Hangout With Yoo, but revealed that he spends his own money every week, with personal expenditures approaching 1,500,000 won.

The MBC variety program Hangout With Yoo, broadcast on Aug. 29 (directed by Kim Jin-yong, Lee Joo-won, Kim Ki-ho, Ahn Ji-seon, Bang Sung-soo, Park Eun-jin/writer No Min-seon), was presented as the "Ne-don-nae-san (I buy it with your money) sales king" episode, and Yu Jae-seok, Haha, Heo Kyunghwan and Joo Woo-jae carried out a mission to survive without spending personal funds.
That day's household ratings for Hangout With Yoo were 3.9% nationwide and 3.8% in the Seoul metropolitan area. The 20-54 demographic rating, a key channel competitiveness indicator reflecting changes in media consumption, recorded 2.3%, placing it first among Saturday variety shows and in its time slot. The top one minute was the ending scene of the members who completed the "Ne-don-nae-san" sales without personal expenditure, with a peak minute rating of 4.8%. Before the mission, the total amount of personal funds the members had spent during "War of Money" was revealed, drawing interest. First place was Heo Kyunghwan with 1,370,000 won, second was Joo Woo-jae with 1,170,000 won, third was Yu Jae-seok with 780,000 won, and fourth was Haha with 390,000 won. When Yu Jae-seok said it didn't look like he had spent money, Heo Kyunghwan angrily recalled that "money went out every week," remembering that he had been opening his wallet regularly after becoming a regular.
They then began choosing products from the variety prop room to sell and went to Hong Hyun-hee's house, who rose to fame on Nego King. Hong Hyun-hee celebrated Heo Kyunghwan's becoming a regular, saying, "Even his energy changed. Now he seems stabilized? That's annoying to see," and added, "Don't act like you're so great. Yu Jae-seok then began bundling a foam roller and mat and offered "50,000 won." As the members encouraged and played along, Kim Jongmin innocently shouted "60,000 won." The members, feeling guilty, tried to dissuade him, saying, "Just buy it for 50,000 won," and Kim Jongmin instead raised the price, becoming a "reverse Nego King," which drew laughter. Haha warned as a friend, "They sell things like this elsewhere, right? Don't ever buy it," and shouted, "Choi Soo-jong, Cha In-pyo, Sean, Kim Jongmin, let's go!" at the happily married Kim Jongmin, who said he coordinates his wife's schedule with overseas performances.
Earlier, Heo Kyunghwan joined as a new regular member in March after Lee Yi-kyung left. He naturally blended with the existing three members Yu Jae-seok, Haha and Joo Woo-jae and adapted quickly, entering a second heyday. However, in the "War of Money" special he ended up betting a lot and often spent personal funds, eventually surpassing 1,000,000 won and approaching 1,500,000 won in expenditures.
