'Boss in the Mirror' Yang Jun-hyuk's wife Park Hyun-seon received a love call for '10 billion won in sales' thanks to her nimble fingertips and cafe operation experience.
On the afternoon of the 30th, the KBS2 variety show 'Boss in the Mirror' featured boy band N.Flying leader Lee Seung-hyub, Yang Jun-hyuk, and chef Jung Ji-seon. Special MC Go Young-bae was active.
The couple Yang Jun-hyuk and Park Hyun-seon went to Yongsan-dangil, a hot place for MZ, to meet chef Kim Hoon, who is regarded as a major player in the dining industry. Yang Jun-hyuk and his wife Park Hyun-seon run a raw fish restaurant and a cafe in Pohang, and they went to learn the operating know-how of 'Yongsan big player' Kim Hoon, who runs more than 10 billion won in annual sales.
Kim Hoon, the 'Yongsan big player' who firmly controls Yongsan, appeared as a trendsetter on the Netflix Culinary Class Wars 2 and runs a Western-style restaurant, bakery cafe and others. Chef Kim Hoon said, "There are three stores in Yongsan, and including other places there are eight stores in total," adding, "The cafes in Yongsan have weekday sales of 5 million won and 10 million won on weekends. The monthly average is 150 million won," drawing admiration.
Park Hyun-seon introduced their cafe and bread menu, and Kim Hoon said, "It seems to lack a signature more than the number of menu items. These are menus you can find at any bakery," pointing out. Park Hyun-seon said, "That's why we came," and Kim Hoon said, "People pay for all of this, but if you help out as a one-day part-timer today, I'll give you consulting."
After changing into a uniform, Yang Jun-hyuk stood at the cafe entrance saying, "Welcome. How many are you?" while soliciting customers, creating a strong sashimi restaurant atmosphere. Customers turned away because Yang Jun-hyuk was occupying the entrance, and boss Ko Tae-yong shot a cutting remark, saying, "That makes customers feel very pressured. They hear it's hip and then just leave." Jun Hyun-moo said, "Just curse at him," and Yang Jun-hyuk said, "I had a good impression of boss Ko Tae-yong," sounding hurt. Customer departures continued, and Kim Hoon said, "If you chase after them, customers get scared. 'Welcome' gives a restaurant-like feeling," and restarted greeting training.
Meanwhile, counter staff Park Hyun-seon perfectly handled everything from plating to match the shape of the bread for first-time customers to dealing with foreign customers and neat bread packaging. Kim Hoon admired, "Your cafe experience shows. I want to recruit you. Your hands are really quick, aren't they?" Park Hyun-seon laughed, "Please get me a job here," and Go Young-bae delivered a blunt truth, saying, "Yang Jun-hyuk and Park Hyun-seon are a wash."
