On Sept. 1 KBS 2TV's Problem Child in House will feature the couple Ye Esther and Hong Hye-geol, who are celebrating their 33rd year of marriage. From this broadcast the show moves to Tuesdays to meet viewers.
That day Ye Esther and Hong Hye-geol said they had not kissed even once in 33 years, surprising everyone. Ye Esther said, "I thought kissing only happened in movies; I could not even imagine it in real life," and revealed she would disclose the special reason the two had not kissed during their long marriage.
Whether the couple Ye Esther and Hong Hye-geol have remained a "kissless" couple for 33 years and why is expected to be revealed in the full broadcast.
Hong Hye-geol's unusually devoted romantic side will also be revealed. Before meeting Ye Esther, Hong Hye-geol was a "born single" and decided on a whirlwind marriage just 94 days after they met.
The two, who were seniors and juniors at Seoul National University College of Medicine, continued seeing each other after meeting at a medical seminar. Hong Hye-geol recalled the time, saying, "(With Ye Esther) we talked on the phone for more than 10 hours. I really did not notice the time passing then," and reportedly showed extraordinary affection.
Here, Hong Hye-geol declared to Ye Esther, "I could die instead of Ye Esther," showing his unwavering love. Attention is focused on the couple's special love story, which still shows strong marital affection even in their 33rd year of marriage.
