The returning 'Biseojin' announced a successful comeback with ratings more than double.
According to ratings survey company Nielsen Korea on the 29th, SBS's new variety program that aired on the 28th, 'Whatever I do for you - Biseojin', recorded a household rating of 3.7% (metropolitan area standard) and a 2049 target rating of 1.7%, a buzz indicator.
The peak minute rating rose as high as 4.4%, and the core 2049 target rating showed a noticeable upward trend, rising more than double compared with the final episode of the previous season.
Making a comeback with a new season after about seven months and announcing a successful return by leading a ratings rise from the first broadcast, Biseojin showed reunited Lee Seo-jin and Kim Kwang-kyu attending to the first "my star" VV's Waterbomb schedule.
When Kim Kwang-kyu exposed that Lee Seo-jin did not know VV's hit song "Bamyanggaeng," Lee Seo-jin explained, "I don't know songs well. I'm not familiar with singers," and, "I only listen to pop," prompting VV to throw a blunt remark, "It kind of feels unlucky," turning the scene into a sea of laughter.
VV, who had maintained a diet for two weeks ahead of Waterbomb, was so nervous that her hands trembled until just before the performance, but she stated her firm performance philosophy, "I think I have to earn the money. I will definitely entertain the people who paid to come in," and when she went on stage she delivered an overwhelming performance as if she had never been nervous, which led Kim Kwang-kyu to admire, "A born artist. She seemed nervous, but as if she had never been nervous, 'ah, she's a pro. This one is the real deal.'"
After the day, Lee Seo-jin commented on VV, "She seems like a person who confidently pioneers her own life, someone who goes in the direction she wants no matter what others say," and VV also expressed satisfaction, saying, "I feel good because you treated me kindly."
