The group TWS (TWS) successfully opened the door to their second Japan tour, solidifying their status as a K-pop trend.
TWS wrapped up the first performance of "2026 TWS TOUR '24/7:FOR:YOU' IN JAPAN" held at Fukuoka International Center in Japan on the 28th in great success. The three-day Fukuoka shows sold out early, showing the group's hot popularity locally.
On the day's stage, TWS heated up the venue with a variety of locally released songs, including tracks from their recently released Japanese single album 2 "SODA SODA," the Japanese versions of "The first meeting didn't go as planned" and "If I'm S then you be my N," and "Nice to see you again" and "Palm Tree." When the refreshing melody of the encore song "SODA SODA" rang out, the audience's cheers reached a peak. They also delivered a wide set list covering youthful sensibility and powerful synchronized choreography, including "hey! hey!," "Get It Now," and an unreleased unit song, performing them with stable live vocals and fully demonstrating their reputation as "the next-generation performance powerhouse."
Their seasoned stage manner and love for fans also stood out. They elicited responses with fluent Japanese, ran across the extended stage to make eye contact with fans, and added emotion by presenting the dress-code event "Clothes show clothes show" and an encore medley. Immediately after the performance, TWS said, "Looking into the eyes of the 42 people on stage, I felt alive once again," and added with emotion, "Thanks to the passionate voices and reactions sent by the 42 people, we look forward even more to the upcoming performances. We hope the happy moments we created today will remain a wonderful memory for you forever."
Starting with the Fukuoka shows, TWS will heat up the archipelago with an Asia tour that continues to Macau, Bangkok, Singapore and Kaohsiung after performing at Hyogo Kobe World Memorial Hall on Sept. 4-6 and at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa on Sept. 12-13. Before that, on Sept. 3 they will appear on M Countdown to reveal the Korean version performance of "SODA SODA" for the first time.
