EVNNE won the Hallyu special award at the 8th Newsis Hallyu Expo.
EVNNE embraced the Hallyu special award trophy at the awards ceremony of the 8th Newsis Hallyu Expo held on the 28th at The Grand Lotte Seoul Crystal Ballroom in Jung-gu, Seoul. The Newsis Hallyu Expo is an awards ceremony that honors individuals and corporations who have raised the status of K-culture and contributed to the development of Hallyu.
In particular, the Hallyu special award is especially meaningful in that it is presented to next-generation artists who will lead the K-pop market in the future.
Immediately after receiving the award, EVNNE said, "I am truly honored to receive the Hallyu special award at such a meaningful event. I thank our Enve (fan club name) members who always support us and the family at Jellyfish Entertainment Co.," showing deep affection for their fans. She added, "Thanks to the fans' love, we were able to communicate in many regions. I accept this award as a call to work harder and will do my best to widely promote the charm of K-pop," conveying a confident aspiration.
This year EVNNE released their first single "Backtalk," showcasing more mature charm with the title track "Backtalk" and the included track "STAY," captivating domestic and international fans. They continued global engagement by holding in-person events in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, meeting local fans directly.
Earlier, EVNNE in 2025 held the solo concert "SET N GO" and successfully completed a large-scale world tour covering 25 cities, including 10 cities in Asia, 10 cities in the Americas and 5 cities in Europe. They also achieved two music show wins with the mini album 5 "LOVE ANECDOTE(S)" title track "How Can I Do".
