Broadcaster Yu Tung shared an update that he is recovering his health in Mongolia after announcing his third facial paralysis and his daughter's critical condition.
On the 27th, Yu Tung released a video titled "Yu Tung Mongolia. Mimi has come" on his YouTube channel.
Living in Mongolia now, Yu Tung met his daughter Mimi and reassured her, who said "I came because I was worried about you," by saying "Don't worry. I'm getting better. My face has recovered a lot." He also carefully asked, "Are you studying well? Do you like the room?" and showed affection by saying, "Our Mimi is so grown-up. I love you."
Earlier this month Yu Tung announced his battle with facial paralysis. At the time he said, "This is the third occurrence of Bell's palsy for me. I'm improving with acupuncture, moxibustion and bloodletting therapy. Today is the seventh day since onset. I'm getting better, so please don't worry. The CT results were fine, but the doctor at the Korean medicine hospital said I have long-standing diabetes and, because Bell's palsy has come three times, I always carry the risks of cerebral infarction and brain atrophy, so he told me not to be stressed and to go to Mongolia quickly." He added, "Actually Mimi was sick and was hospitalized and is still being treated. This too will pass. I was also admitted yesterday to overcome this," revealing the situation and evoking sympathy.
In a subsequent video he revealed, "I heard the shocking news that Mimi had chickenpox and flu-like symptoms suspected to be vomiting COVID-19 and that if things went wrong it would be serious, and as a father the thing to do was to go to Mongolia quickly and save Mimi," saying his daughter Mimi's health was critical, which surprised viewers.
He continued, "I came to Mongolia on Aug. 10, and from the moment Mimi saw her father she has undergone a miraculous healing and is regaining her health. I am also getting much better from acupuncture, moxibustion and radiofrequency treatment from a famous Chinese doctor in Mongolia. My face is returning a lot. I still stutter and my pronunciation is not good when I speak, but I can communicate," he said, reporting that he is regaining his health.
