YH Entertainment CEO Jeong Hae-chang received the producer award in recognition of his outstanding ability to contribute to the development of K-pop.
Jeong received the K World Dream Best Producer Award at the 2026 K World Dream Awards (2026 KWDA) held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi, on the 27th.
Taking the stage, Jeong said, "I sincerely thank those who gave me this precious award. I always want to say thank you to our always shining artists, Lee Dohyun, Yena, TEMPEST, and AND2BLE, who debuted this year, for their constant efforts. And to the YH Entertainment employees who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to build the company together, thank you and well done. Above all, I sincerely thank the fans around the world who always support and back our artists," he said. On the day of the award, the agency's group AND2BLE went on stage and presented a bouquet, creating a heartwarming scene.
Jeong, who proved his capabilities by producing major K-pop stars such as Son Dam-bi, After School, NU'EST, and SEVENTEEN in the past, is now leading the rapid growth of artists under YH Entertainment. He led the outstanding performances of Lee Dohyun, who rose to become a 10-million-ticket actor with the film Exhuma, and Yena, who dominated the first half of the year's music scene with "Catch Catch." In particular, AND2BLE, which debuted in May, achieved first-week sales of 730,000 copies with its first mini album, placing it in the top four of all-time debut album first-week sales for groups. With such striking results produced by outstanding planning across music and acting, industry attention is focused on YH Entertainment's future moves.
